To get around this bug, I have to save the document as a "Best for printing" PDF to protect the Helvetica Neue and layout, but then I have to take the PDF to , and then manually overlay the hyperlinks into the PDF document, because Word didn't save them in the first place.
However, if I save the PDF as "Best for printing" PDF, the Helvetica Neue font and layout survive, but none of the live hyperlinks survive. If I save as "Best for electronic distribution" PDF, the hyperlinks survive, but the font automatically converts to Arial, so the Helvetica Neue, as well as the layout and formatting all get messed up.
